MARCH
Mothers Day - 14th of March
Celebrate Mothers Day by visiting Deep Sea World and learn about all the great mother figures of the marine world. What's more, all mums will get free entry into the aquarium when accompanied with two full paying children.
Science Week - 15th to 21st March
National Science Week is a chance for us to celebrate all things that explode and make a bang! Come understand what effects science has on the marine life.
APRIL
Save Our Seas - Launch April closing date 1st July
In April we will be launching our design a poster campaign, where we want children to voice there own issues and concerns about the marine environment.
MAY
Ugh Weekend - 1st to 3rd May 2010
Find out some of the most disgusting and truly horrible facts about our oceans. The event will let you look at the bizarre behaviour and traits that make even the nicest animals revolting.
JUNE
World Oceans Day - 8th June
Come to Deep Sea World and help us raise awareness of the marine environment, through this annual event we dedicate a whole day to our sea’s and oceans.
Fathers Day - 20th June
Bring your dad to Deep Sea World and find out all about the dads of the ocean.
JULY
Creepy Crawlies Weekend - 10th to 11th July
A whole week dedicated to the creepy crawlies of the world, be brave and hold a mixture of insects. See our creepy crawlies in their brand new home.
AUGUST
Nemo Weekend - 31st July to 2nd August
Help us find the famous fish around the aquarium, through adventure quizzes and trails, even his big cousin Charlie the clownfish may help in the quest to find him
SEPTEMBER
Rocking Reef Weekend - 18th to 19th September
This weekend come dressed up in your favourite rock and roll theme with our staff as we look into the crazy and colour world of the rocking reef.
OCTOBER
Predator Weekend - 9th to 10th October
Understanding the ocean can make it a confusing place but in our predator weekend you’ll be able to separate the predators from the prey and know who is hunting or being hunted.
Halloween - 30th to 31st October
Spooktacular weekend of ghost and ghouls, see if your brave enough to touch our creepy crawlies and participate in some spooky arts and crafts. Fancy dress is a must, the scarier the better.
NOVEMBER
Divers Weekend - 13th to 14th November
Without these people we wouldn’t know so much about the marine life, come meet our very own divers and understand their role and what they have to do.
DECEMBER
Diving Santa - Throughout December
Throughout December we have a special guest helping our divers feed the marine life in the tank. Come see him before he gets very busy.
